Our mission is to create a supportive and empowering community where parents can access the connections, resources, and encouragement needed to navigate as both parents and individuals with confidence and resilience.
No matter how your story has brought you to a one parent family, One Parent Co-op is here to partner with you and champion your children.

Raising children as a one parent team comes with a blend of rewards and obstacles. It is a journey filled with triumphs and trials. From balancing work and family life to navigating new roles and responsibilities, we know the road can be tough. That’s why we are building a space just for you – where you can find practical resources, guidance, and a strong network of others who share similar experiences.
Join our Network
As we are launching One Parent Co-op, we are looking for community partners. If you are a business, neighborhood school, community group or non-profit, or local church community looking to help in resourcing one parent families in Lubbock and the surrounding communities, we would love to talk through what a partnership looks like! We are looking to expand our resources to provide essential tools and programs to help one parent families succeed in all aspects of their lives. This includes parenting support, financial assistance, legal resources, health and wellness, and building impactful relationships. We are looking to expand our resources to not only assist one parent families in the resources they need to support their children and their households, but also their own well-being.
Building a Strong Community
You don’t have to go through this life alone! Our community of one parent households is here to support one another, share stories, and offer encouragement. We will be launching programs for fathers this January and programs for mothers later in the Spring of 2025. There will be workshops and events to meet other parents, share your journey, and learn from others who have gone through similar experiences. As we grow our community, the resources we will provide will cater to our community's unique needs.

About us
One Parent Co-Op is a ministry of Grace Lubbock United Methodist Church. Our new location, near Frankfort and 114th, will open in 2025.
Our Leadership
Jeff Fisher, Senior Pastor of Grace Lubbock, is a Lubbock native and is a single parent to two boys. Through his ministry of Grace Lubbock and own needs as a one parent household, Jeff has seen the need in the Lubbock and surrounding areas for creating an authentic connected network of one parent households in order to help families thrive.
Ryan Galloway, Associate Pastor of Grace Lubbock, is a native of Eastern New Mexico who is driven by a strong desire to create communities where everyone is welcome and celebrated. Ryan seeks to create a space where people of all identities can fully connect with God’s grace and walk together into greater experiences of life and an all-embracing community.
